Lyrics
In this concrete jungle there is no instinct, clarity, or freedom
In this concrete jungle there is no serenity, beauty, no majesty
I can find no calm
(I see greed)
Endless numbers, mountainous towers, man-made mistakes
I can find no calm
(I see greed)
Savages gnawing at the land that provides
The human animal destroys home
Savages clawing with the hands that decide
The human animal has nowhere to go
Savages gnawing at the land that provides
The human animal destroys home
Savages clawing with the hands that decide
The human animal has no place to go
I walk on (blades) of grass
I run under (limbs) these trees
And I gaze at vast horizons
In an endless sea, I drift
Am I that man who will stand out.
It would take a mountain of a man to right these wrongs.
Am I that man? Who will stand out?
Finally another MOUNTAIN OF A MAN jam! We are pretty damn happy about this one. It’s been a long time comin’… Please take the time to take a little listen won’t you?
I wrote these lyrics about a guy who doesn’t like the city vibe, decides to leave, but in the end still holds out hope for mankind.
Hopefully we will be getting right back at it for another song soon… it’s a long weird process.
Bye!

Roadtrippin’.
I forgot to reblog this awhile ago-
Peter J made a cool little art piece out of our road trip footage.
It was a really good journey, and I think this video captured it well!
August 20, 2010 - I got my tours of seattle down pretty good. Whenever people show up I got the usual places that must be seen… but none of that compared to the amazing chance encounter we had with Tommy Wiseau at a coffee shop. Also, walking along with him was Greg Sestero of The Room fame as well. Here’s a scene for your enjoyment featuring both of those insane people… watch if you dare!
Here’s some bonus pictures from that day as well!

Tim @ the gum wall!

Tim @ the troll!

Pete w/ the dudes!!
June 23, 2010 - Cubs also lost the second game we saw… we were all bummed. But pinball definitely made it better…
June 9, 2010 - Whew! Sorry for the delay- I’ve been busy. Deal with it!
Finally got to hoist that damn thing. ‘Hoist’ is a funny word. I’m pretty sure the only time it’s supposed to be used is when describing what you do to the Stanley Cup when you win it.
The picture above shows Veronica sleeping and dreaming of McDonald’s. I should make it known that that is not entirely accurate. She actually did get into the game and even paid attention! But for the sake of jokes and because she insisted that McDonald’s was actually good I had to draw her like that.
Oh- and please make sure you click through to make this large and in charge to really see what Peter J thinks about when he gets Stanley Cup fever.
May 20, 2010 - Nothing like ruining a perfectly good meal than finding a little something (that was once a live) lounging in your soup. Buzzzzzkill.

A little something I did on Garageband.
I was pretty impressed with Garageband overall. Most of the software tracks were decent and editing was simple. What’s that? You want a song a week? Ha! I can only fantasize about that kind of motivation.
You know that dude Pete I draw about a lot? Well he made a song! I’ve been listening to this for about 5 days now- it’s your turn to hear it!
March 19, 2010 - Back story for those who (care and) do not know me and my past! - I was once in a band named Die Homey! We were kind of a hardcore band- it was high school days. I sang and eventually played drums and then we stopped playing. At some point we were getting ready to play a show and decided it’d be a good idea to play all of our songs through to be sure we could do it, you know? So we set up a video camera and played a kinda fake concert. Somehow I transferred the audio from that video onto a cassette tape. I’ve had that tape with me for 7 years. Today I FINALLY went to a thrift store and found a tape player for 3 dollars. Then we relived the magic. Now Peter J is transferring the cassette audio onto his brand spankin’ new iMac and we will soon be able to have all of our songs we ever made on one album! I am excited about it. You will probably hear something from it in the future- beware.
Also a shout-out to my Portland homey- TJ Kehoe!
