Do you like instrumental music? Me too! I finally got to see these dudes last week and they were killer!!! Check ‘em out homeys.

Sugar. Coated. Sour.

Hello there everyone. It’s just little old me. Here to holla at ya and share a few things-

1. What’s the deal with Sour Patch Kids? Every single time I eat them they rip up my tongue and the insides of my cheeks. Yet- I do not stop eating them, in fact, I eat more. Does this happen to you? Do you also get destroyed by these bite-size murderers of mouths?

2. I am drawing a lot today- I fell behind with the inking (I’ve been penciling the days so I know what the hell I did that day.) and I will be getting caught up today!

3. The reason I fell behind in drawings is because I have been rocking the hell out, working the hell out (actual work- not exercising), and sleeping the hell out!

  • The Dillinger Escape Plan and Darkest Hour came to town. Dillinger was unreal. I’ve seen them before and they blew me away then- and today, a lot of years later they are still going strong and really putting on a memorable show. If you have a chance to see them you should do that. Even if you hate metal and screaming and all that- It’s an experience, that you should experience. Darkest Hour also kicked my ass that night. I almost gave up on them, (I haven’t listened to the new CDs much [ever since they started singing, it kinda turned me off]) but they officially turned me back on with their live show.
  • Every time there is a concert in the middle of my work week it throws me off sleep-wise for a few days because of my early work hours. I slept 2 hours before work after the DEP/DH concert and then slept a billion hours after work. It just happens like that, and time slips away.

4. My 9-day vacation starts today. Many things are on the agenda for those 9 days. Today’s drawing will address those things.

5. I have been having the most insane dreams lately. For example- A couple nights ago I dreamed that I was being followed by this dude with a machine gun. He shot his gun straight up into the sky and all the bullets rained down exactly onto the top of my head. They didn’t pierce the skin- but it hurt like crazy. Strange right? There were more, but I won’t get into it.

6. I got a couple new CDs the other day.

  • She & Him - Volume 2 - So far I liked Volume 1 better, but Volume 2 is growing on me still. I’ll let it sink in before I make my final decision.
  • Red Sparowes - The Fear is Excruciating, but Therein Lies The Answer - Really really really really really awesome album. Instrumental and perfect thinking music. I like to draw to it. Also, in the booklet there is a paragraph about the concept of the album. Basically addressing our society and a different way to look at things. I won’t go into detail, because this is getting long already. Just get it- read it- listen to it- enjoy it.

That’s about it. ‘Back to the drawing board’ as they say.
